The Bedroom Tax - The big lie

Servants are exempt from this aren't they?
My God, has it really come to this? Everyone should be allowed to have a pastry cook surely?

Hey rascal, how's life bud?

Just a quick one because I think you'll find t interesting. I'm only just in from work and don't have the energy to debate, but look up the efficient black market economic model in a market with a price ceiling for rental accommodation.

One example is new York.

I'm sure you'll find it an interesting read weather you agree with it or not.

If somebody gets a house for free why should it include more rooms than they need when other people in social housing are overcrowded? If it's free you get the minimum you need. The people who say there is nowhere for them to go are not strictly telling the truth. Housing Associations [not government] are putting up money to enable moves but the majority don't want to as it's too much effort. The government have put up discretionary housing benefit so enable people to facilitate moves but it's just too much effort for people to apply for it and people bury their heads in the sand hoping it will go away. Well it might, it might not. Gone are the days of one free house for life, people getting free housing should be prepared to live by their means, just like those who are mortgaged do.

Sorry but you are wrong on this.

I work for a Housing Association and we dont have the property for these people to move to. At the last count it will take 10 years to deal with the people who are now over-occupying their homes based on the current level of empty properties

Just checked on right move for 1 bed properties in manchester and therer are a thousand and that's only right move

Check how many there are in comparison to two bed properties. Manchester is a uni town too, so most of those will be student accommodation.

We could always start with the family who claim more state benefits than any other in the country. But no, we cant even mention these lot. I think the Bedroom Tax would make rather a lot on Buckingham Palace alone.

2013 and we are taking money of those who are most needy and vulnerable but we have a Queen FFS!

the new Nazi party,IDS catch phrase albrect mach frey

arbeit macht frei is the correct term. You should be ashamed of yourself making a connection between any elected MP in this country with the nazis
and why`s that ?

The nazis committed racial genocide, torturing and murdering six million Jews, if you think that stands comparison with the Tory party then there is probably not much point in me trying to debate with you

To be fair they weren't that nice to a hell of a lot of other people too.
