Just see it now City battering Bayern and go into the lead, then we get the news from Spain that Napoli are ahead. This filters out on to the pitch and Bayern score a late equaliser.

I always hope for the best but realistically we threw it away last night, and as we only managed a draw in the two Napoli games then they deserve to go through - not us.

I just want us to beat Bayern. You lot have no idea what it's like to live here surrounded by 'plastic' Bayern fans all laughing at City losing tonight.
Please, please, please let me get what I want.....a win against Bayern!

Who's "laughing at City losing" ? Load of cobblers, the only reason we're happy with the Napoli - City result is that it means we are already group winners, otherwise 99% of Bayern fans don't mind who else goes through. If anything the majority would prefer City to an Italian team.

If you are a City supporter in Germany you may be getting a bit of stick from your mates, I get it everytime we lose from all the Hannover lot where I live. It's what we call banter.

I'm not "plastic" either, I wasn't there last night but I'd only got back from Munich on Monday morning after our banana skin slip v Dortmund.

I reckon there's always something to play for in the Champions League - especially for a club with no money. €800,000 for a win and €400,000 for a draw is the prize money.

How are we fixed for offering them a win/draw bonus? Are we allowed?

Napoli play counter attack football, They have to take the game to villareal which is not their strong point. They will have to dictate the game and could come unstuck. I can see the game being 0-0 and it will be down to us to beat bayern. The pressure is all on Napoli, i think they will buckle!!

The rags have been giving large all day saying we are out. The funny thing is we could go through they could lose to Basel and finish 3rd.
