Lille travelled to Milan having to win against all the odds away at the team that would go on to win it that season, as well as hoping that AEK would slip up against Anderlecht, who were already out.

After:

Anderlecht 2-2 AEK Athens
Milan 0-2 Lille

Lille somehow managed to win, whilst already eliminated Anderlecht fought for a draw against AEK.

It ended up like this:

I am usually quite optimistic with stuff like this but I can't see Napoli blowing it now, having worked so hard to get where they are in this group. I think we might beat Bayern, though, and bow out gracefully. What I would hate is for Napoli to slip up against Villareal only for us to fail to get the win we need to take advantage. I would be utterly gutted if that happened.
