The bent referee - complain.

All it was lads was a case of look at me look at me I'm doing my job, it seems to me that the only way to get noticed especially in the premier league list is to fcuk right up, is anyone talking about the referee in the chelsea arsenal game, I mean who refereed it?

I thought the ref was very good yesterday tbh,It takes skill and practice to be so fucking awful.

He was quite simply shocking. Very very hard to believe he was impartial yesterday. Most of the free kicks awarded to us were in the final minutes and the majority of the game it was crazy. One point it was like 17 free kicks given to them and 3 to us despite them kicking lumps out of us.

How he and the linesman missed the Dzeko penalty was bad but he was next to Toure when he got fouled, nothing given, Toure gets up and challenges, free kick which led to the goal.
Penalty was correct though he couldnt give the card quick enough but then Balo just standing there, defender uses Balo for leverage and climbs all over him and free kick to them?

Usually it can be sour grapes after a game drawn or lost to complain about the ref, but yesterday was beyond belief how bad he was. Looked like a little schoolboy lost in the headlights of a car and seemed afraid to award anything to Wolves. Perhaps as a little boy he was scared of Wolves.

We generally win with him in charge though but not had him for a "big" game, no disrespect meant to teams we have played reffed by him

Hey Skashion, you're welcome to have your opinion, leave me to mine and but out.

Stuart Steven Attwell (born 6 October 1982) is an English professional football referee from Nuneaton, Warwickshire ( Not far from Wolves
Wow, this is one idiotic post. Firstly, I was on the side of Atwell's performance should be questioned without those doing the questioning being called rags. That seems to be your view as well. Secondly, it's a forum, people respond to other member's posts, that's how it works.

So we win 3-1 and we've got fans writing off to the FA complaining about the ref? We are turning into the rags.

He was shocking, but we've had worse and we will have worse in the future.

We have not had worse i was spitting blood yesterday never been so angry

Have you seen replays of Silva's 'dives' and are you sure he wasn't fouled on either occasion?

Yes I am sure he dived on at least two occasions. All the top players do it - especially when the chances are they will lose the ball. Doesn't mean to say it's right though, does it? All it does, however, is give a poor ref a reason to ignore the real fouls which did occur later on.

Was ana embarassment. Thank fuck we won 3-1, no matter the score though you shouldnt have to witness refereeing like that. Only correct decision was the pen which wouldv'e been acknowledged had he not been a twat for the rest of the match. In the incident where toure got fouled, got nothing, got up and got a foul given against him, the twat was looking away!

The ref got decisions wrong and I went mental at him at one point but from my own judgement in the stand I think the crowd actually got more wrong than the ref. There were a couple of dives from our players and a couple of fouls by our players that the ref got spot on yet the crowd went barmy at the ref. He was poor, but not that poor. It's not like he was Peter Walton!

I'm amazed they included that piece of footage on Tunnel Cam. Could get us into a lot of trouble.

i agree , at least we are now good enough to overcome poor refs , other teams may get relegated because of this.

they're all shit , it's just some are shitter than others.

My old man works with the linesman who was running the line infront of the east stand. im sure my dad will get him to pass a few messages to mr attwell.

I couldn't believe how bad he was yesterday.

A bit of a blog I wrote about Stuart Attwell's performance yesterday if anyone is interested. Basically, 5 jobs in football that he would be more suited to than refereeing.

So you're saying he's a united fan?

He needs to do some geography - it's like saying Liverpool is close to Manchester, or Sunderland is close to Newcastle. Partly true, but when there are closer teams at hand, it's a tall order to imaging him supporting Wolves!

He is the modern Uriah Rennie blinded by his own brilliance no matter how many times he got demoted Rennie came back and was as bad as ever Attwell has been up and down the leagues a few times and doesn't seem to have learned which to me screams he is just inept. A bit calmer than yesterday about it the more I think about it the more I'm convinced he tried to hard not to come accross as a "homer" 18 fouls to 6 says that. slightest touch and it was a Wolves free kick they go in harder on us and it was play on. Watching football first last night the co commentator seemed a bit confused both backing then questioning decisions all game

They'd not have gone barmy at his correct decisions if he'd not got them going barmy by his bad decisions. Just baffling, some of them. None of the bookings really needed; why he felt he had to warn Dzekco I don't know, when he'd let them pull and push our players but not had to award a FK because we didn't go down, for fouls which would (should) have been yellow card offences if we had gone down.

Oh dear, nearly 24 hours later, and I'm still going barmy about it!
