Moronic chant from a largely moronic fanbase nowadays. In all my years of going, away especially, I've never seen such a change in City fans as I have in the last few years. The Charlton song isn't remotely funny. We're all going on the piss isn't remotely funny. What's funny about going on the piss?! I'm out tomorrow night, i don't find it hilarious.
We're NOT going to Madrid by far a more indicative rendition of what City fans used to be. Self deprecating humour at it's best.

Considering what has happened in our club with ex players being affected by paedophile coaches you would think we would want to distance ourselves from singing such shit. But no you can always guarantee the lets singing about Munich crowd will do there upmost to embarrass our club even more.

Fucking shite lyrics, we're better than that. Much better to have a laugh and sing the 'on the piss' version. Why bring an old rag into our songs about such brilliant young City players.

Embarrassing and when the boot is on the other foot, the very same minorty will be moaning and groaning about it. Pathetic to mock the dead and stupidly criminal - and awful, awful topics. I remmeber being at WHU away (League Cup 13/14) and being called so many weird names like Wayne Rooney the Grannyshagger and Paedo lover, by one of our so called own fans. All because I used the shitter to have a shit and delay some cokehead his quick line of weakness. It really ruined my day and I haven't felt like going to away or home games in the same sense ever since.

It will die down. We were playing united and it was heard the previous game, of course it was going to get sung last night, it only takes a small group of people pissed to sing it once and everybody else gets caught up and joins in and it becomes the song of choice for that game.
Yes It’s in poor taste, and when you look at it from the outside, sober, you question why anybody would sing it but it’s not as bad as this place would have you believe. Our own fans and fans of every other club has undoubtedly sang worse this season and will do again next season. The comments about what would Bernardo think of it are pointless, Like he gives a fuck what the lyrics to a song are. It might get a few more outings this season on the back of its popularity last night but you won’t hear it next season just like all the other iffy songs that have come and gone in the past.
