Then the likes of Two Door Cinema Club , The XX as others have mentioned were good. Bit disapointed in the Klaxons album this year its ok but could of been better. Also Kanye West sitting on the fence with his last album its good but how good yet I still not sure.

Everything Everything, Crystal Castles, The Coral, The Courteeners, The Drums.

No particular order.

Bring Me The Horizon - There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It, There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret
Parkway Drive - Deep Blue
Bullet For My Valentine - Fever
Feeder - Renegades
The Coral - Butterfly House
Delphic - Acolyte
Two Door Cinema Club - Tourist History

There were a fair few albums this year I would have liked to listen too but didn’t get chance and a clutch of others (Caribou, The Radio Dept, Beach House, JJ, Sambassedeur, Kyte) that I only heard once or twice but thought they sounded good. Some records disappointed a little (Delorean, Sleigh Bells, The Depreciation Guild) but my favourite 5 would probably be

Sad Day For Puppets - Pale Silver And Shiny Gold
Delphic - Acolyte
The High Wire - The Sleep Tape
School Of Seven Bells - Disconnect From Desire
James Yuill - Movement In A Storm.

Kanye West's comeback and all it encompassed was great and credit where it’s due to Ellie Goulding for making a really good melodic pop album.

Should be lots of cracking albums to look forward to in 2011
