The Best Beatles song

I just read a book on how the tape loops on Tommorrow Never Knows were created, amazing stuff.

I am the Walrus
A day in the life
Tommorrow never knows
hello goodbye

"Norwegian Wood" is probably my favourite Beatles song;

without looking at other selections other faves:

"Hey Bulldog"
"Drive My Car"
"I'm Down"
"Hey Jude"
"Girl"
"Matchbox"
"Strawberry Fields Forever"
"Penny Lane"
"Blackbird"

two late additions
"I'm So Tired"
"Im Only Sleeping"

getting better
hey bulldog
i am the walrus
the fool on the hill
Eleanor Rigby
i am only sleeping
help
hello goodbye
a day in the life
in my life
for no one
magical mystery tour
and Octopus's garden

I Want You (She's So Heavy)
Hey Bulldog
Happiness Is A Warm Gun
I Am The Walrus
Strwaberry Fields
In My Life
I'm Only Sleeping
I'm So Tired

There really is too many!

I should clarify, it was part of a book that talked about the tape loops from Tommorrow Never Knows. Its actually called "Good Vibrations: A history of Record Production" by Mark Cunningham. Good read.

'Blackbird' must be one of their most covered songs, outside of their hit records.
Theres a wonderful version by an Irish folk singer, Sean Keane, I think (no relation)

I suspect Ian MacDonald provides the details in his book also
