Looking very good from that! I don't think he is the best Bond though, but he is definitely up there. Timothy Dalton was probably the closest to the Flemming Bond, but personally I absolutely love Roger Moore. I think he plays that type of Bond brilliantly. Octopussy or For Your Eyes Only the best films for me!

Funny enough, I really liked Dalton's 'Bond', too! He got bombed out, because audience relation wasn't ready for a gritty version of the Bond character. The studios played it safe and went back to the tongue-in-cheek stuff.

Craig's Bond is LOOONG overdue, although they were clearly testing the waters with Brosnan's version.

I really think Brosnan would still be Bond if Die Another Day wasn't an awful film. It wasn't that he was a bad Bond, but DAD was just so bad they really needed to change after that.

Agreed.

Although, I don't think the story was such a bad idea - I believe it wasn't too far from Flemming's 'Moonraker' novel. The film was just so badly written and the special effects looked awful - the CGI, to me, looked fake (you could tell, for example, that the surfing scene was done on blue/green screen) and the stunts were too unrealistic.

I think Brosnan played a very good Bond, but I now think that Craig's is better. Perhaps it's because he's got better material to work with? Or perhaps I prefer the 007 films that have investigations and plot, rather than explosions and super-weapons?

Personally i think Sean Connery is the best Bond so far, purely because i'm reading the new Bond novel just now, and i'm picturing him as the Bond in it, just kinda fits. But i loved Casino Royale and am very looking forward to the new one.

Unibond, seriously it can stick anything together, much better on skirtings than hard as nails
