He actually said "the last I saw us win something" which I took to mean he wasn't at Wembley for the FA cup final.

Bit harsh. You could hear the emotion in the guy's voice. It's a good job they didn't interview me, I'd have a proper fool of myself!

Yeah he did say that.

And to be honest that guy pretty much summed it up for me in his last words "it's too much, it's just too much", whilst just about holding it together.

Supporting City always has been too much. Emotional roller coaster to say the least and that day nearly did me in. I honestly looked forward to the summer break after going into town for the parade because I was emotionally done in with it all by then. In a nice way ... But needed a break.

And I'll never tire of watching these vids because I have no recollection of that goal, it's a mental blank! I recall gripping my dad and just saying "we've won the league" then hugging everyone around me but the goal .... Nothing.

Blabbing again.
