Yeah, funny how you mention the trucks cos I was explaining on the way back from chelsea to my son as we went passed Maine Road and it was dark and I was reminiscing that you only knew you we were on motd, Big Match when you turned that corner onto Maine Road itself in my way of approaching the game. I told him if we weren't on any highlights programme that a memorable goal still etched in ones mind would be there and never seen on any screen, youtube etc. Some beautiful memories and not just the goals be it seen or unseen.

The formality of it is amusing. In the letters section of the show, Brian Moore used to read the full address of the writer, including the house number. And his head does look uncannily like London Planetarium.

No gloves but Keith Weller of Leicester did turn out once in a pair if tights when it was cold and he was protecting an injury. A huge talking point at the time, front page news, “the game’s gone” shouts etc

Strange thing with Keith Weller was his tights were white if i remember? & it looked a bit odd, probably still would even now.

If you mean Tony Henry? his name was quite similar to Thierry Henry but thats really where any comparisons end. (not being to harsh he was a fairly ordinary midfielder who player around 80 games & scored half a dozen goals)
