I won't be able to get on here much after today as after 11 months out of work I start a new job tomorrow!

I actually had 2 to choose from - crazy!

It's a 6 month contract and means driving from Macclesfield to Halifax/Huddersfield every day, but it's a job.

It takes about 75 mins to get there and about 2 hours to get home

It won't be much fun when the weather changes though

But on the positive side they are paying me silly money so it's worth it

One job I had in Prague meant me driving from our house in Velka Bucina to a place called Jaszarokszallas in Hungary every Monday morning coming back on Friday night - Just a mere 450 miles each way LOL

If there are any HGV drivers out there, due to company expansion I have Class 1,2 and 7.5 Tonne driving positions. Permanent roles, all shifts available with good rates of pay.

Had a flier through the door today, for Royal Mail at their Stakehill parcel sorting centre (M24 or north Middleton, for those who don't know). Looks like they're recruiting for Christmas, and full training is provided. Could be other locations, too, I suppose.
