The Bluemoon Job Club.

I would probably turn up at 0200hrs as its only about 7 hours work then chill all afternoon
200 yards out from Piccadilly they put it on auto pilot, fuck off down the carriage for a brew and only go back 500 yards from Stockport.....or when the passengers start screaming, which ever is first

I could probably train a chimpanzee to do that . And I bet he wouldn't ask for 6 hours overtime if he was 15 minutes late

A shame, and incredibly odd, that a brilliant opportunity has been met with such a response.......it seems this isn't the forum to try and help people, the very reason this thread was created........i should have learnt from previous effort and experience.

Perhaps if you had done a sensible post when you bumped the thread you would not have got the response you did.
If you know where they are offering the jobs why not tell us, you could even include a few details, instead you chose to post in the way you did and then criticise the replies.
Perhaps you just needed a platform for your views (sorry couldn't resist)

I mean, the alternative is he posts nothing, and perhaps the 5 or 6 people that may have actually taken it seriously, or passed it onto friends, don't see anything at all.

I say well done for posting it, and trying to have a bit of a laugh at the same time.

It was entirely sensible and serious, with, given previous responses to a train drivers job.....a touch of appropriate humour.

The link, with full details, and how to apply, was in my post.

No problem though, plenty of far more grateful others, elsewhere, will take such an amazing opportunity.

PM me if anyone serious would like some help, otherwise im done here.

Fantasy, my apologies as I missed the bit that said login. I knew the first post was both serious and also light hearted and I tried to respond in a similar light hearted manner. It was not meant, absolutely no pun intended, to derail the thread.

Fair play, now let's get the thread back on track.

I'm only asking in here as it seems to be the closest thread to relevancy without starting a new one. Does anyone know the score about being asked for references before an offer is made, but after an interview? I've never had this happen before and I've interviewed for something new that would be a role I'd really like and would represent a complete career change. Thank you
