Fixed. Not my favourite Pretenders song (that accolade goes to ‘Mystery Achievement’), but still a quality effort. Chrissie Hynde is rock royalty.
Maybe a graphic would help illustrate the problem.

Ugh. I will go Pretenders but couldn't someone have picked Up The Neck or something?
Not harsh. Accurate.Harsh. Learning To Crawl might not be as good as the first two but overall it's a decent album especially in the circumstances albeit it is marred by a couple of dodgy tracks.
We can agree about 2000 Miles being a great (and touching) Christmas song.
Not harsh. Accurate.
"Decent", agreed, versus an amazing debut (one of the best ever) and IMO an exceedingly underrated follow-up, just as "English Roses" might be one of the most underrated rock songs of all time. It's Chrissie Hynde's "Heroes."
Nothing CH did after the absolutely tragic deaths of JHS and PF comes close. Not her fault. Their deaths together are up there with Hendrix, Cobain, Rhoads and D. Boone for wasted potential IMO.
