The Bluemoon Song Cup 2023

Now you're just being provocative in an attempt to get us to club together to pay for your passage aren't you? You do realise the density of banjo's per square mile in California is shockingly low, maybe Fog's got some distant family in Louisiana that you could stay with ;-)
Forget the banjo. Just a song that has some good old electric guitar versus some of this dreary 80s bobbins would do.

I accept that it's a democratic vote on each and every one of these ties, but by God, I must have been unlucky with my cohort here! Everybody seems to love 80s keyboard rubbish :)

"Good Vibrations" was an outbreak of common sense.

LOL I actually do! My grandmother was from Thibodaux. I'm one quarter Cajun.

Two electric guitars on Ghost Town, they're just not doing what you want them to do! Plus it's got a Hammond on it. Add in the brass and what's not to love?

In fairness I think overall the mix of songs has been ok - you'd probably get more meaningful discussion if the match ups were of the same genre but then it becomes a different thread. That said it is less rock oriented than I thought it would be.
