Struggle to like them now.Find their music to be overlong and quite dull now.

I said enough times on here that I think Manchester music is way overrated, but funnily enough, I really like The Charlatans and have a few of their albums. "The Only One I Know" is in a league of its own compared to James, The Smiths etc.

When it comes to music and football, Liverpool and Manchester (red shirts) are similar, very defensive about it, and believe it's the best in the world, and is untouchable........music alone, City fans seem no different ;)

Kate Bush on the other hand is just painful wailing. "OH but she wrote it when she was 14"- guess what, it sounds like it. Dreadful song. If it was Hounds of Love era then ok but this is dire.

A cracking lp mate.

The singles, plus Believe You Me, Sonic, Sproston Green and Polar Bear are all up there with anything they’ve ever done imo.

Had the included Indian Rope on it, it’d be even better as that’s up there in their top 3 tunes ever for me.
