And who could blame you!
I'm pretty much a live and let live type of person but this seems like a step too far.
After theDylan every day, every week, every month, every year.
Wtf is going on man.
As a non-Dylan aficionado, musically-speaking, this is an easy choice for me but I am always struck by how un-Smiths-like HSIN is compared to the rest of their catalog.
I'm not necessarily saying you are wrong on that last thought. :-)I think I’m the only person on earth who thinks Stop Me If You etc. is their best tune.
If you haven't voted for either song (or in this case the song that probably needs you) to avoid what has been "pre ordained", how can you realistically be complaining? After thefixcreative counting a round or so back, it's clearly been pre ordained that T** S****s will win this. Naive to assume that the best song will win out in the end.
It really comes down to — if I had a choice, which of the two would I normally play if I wanted to hear something? Nothing against Dylan or particularly this song — one of my favo(u)rites (everyone’s maybe) by him. No value judgment on the artists’ merits or talents or importance. I’ve never cottoned to much of Dylan’s music. His voice is irrelevant to that feeling and his lyrics are too — because they are poetry and the finest ever, maybe. And ask me if I’d rather read an interview with Morrissey or Dylan. LOL.Worlds gone mad.
