If you haven't voted for either song (or in this case the song that probably needs you) to avoid what has been "pre ordained", how can you realistically be complaining?

I did in other rounds. Sometimes they win,more often they don't.

Looking forward to The Boxer v Good Vibrations I would be surprised and somewhat disappointed if this " clash " doesn't get the biggest turnout to date.

Clearly the " tie " of the round much like City ( The Boxer ) getting a side in the form of their life ( Good Vibrations ).

Apologies for revealing my choice beforehand however in my younger days I was prone to pick against us in the hope that I got it wrong.

After the fix creative counting a round or so back, it's clearly been pre ordained that T** S****s will win this. Naive to assume that the best song will win out in the end.

I get the impression some on the thread don't feel The Smiths are worthy to be mixing it up with the 'heavyweights' and it's a local thing. Worth remembering even if you don't like them, a case can be made for The Smiths being the most influential British band of the last 40-50 years; I personally don't think they are but I don't think it's outrageous for someone to suggest it. The way some people see it, you'd think we were talking about Slaughter and the Dogs (no disrespect intended).
