The Bluemoon Song Cup 2023

Boards of Canada sounds like lift or hold music. But it's better than Kate Bush.
It's bit like when the scum play the dippers, you don't really want either one to do well

For those that its not obvious to, the KB track is based on the closing soliloquy from James Joyce's 'Ulysses', where the character Molly Bloom recalls her earliest sexual experience with husband-to-be Leopold Bloom. Now that made you change your vote didn't it?

I'll read that later when I'm in bed. Should do the trick. ;)

Thanks for that.
I’ve never understood a word she has ever shrieked before.

Low attendance and a poor match, the crowd boo at the final whistle but the Boards Of Canada make a surprising victory against Bush and go through.

Round 1/M53
The Rubettes (Sugar Baby Love)
v
The War On Drugs (Under The Pressure)

The Rubettes feels like a pretty left field and brave choice, almost worth a like for the bravado but Wat on Drugs produce some great moments, this is a top track.
