Liam williams beat mark heffron's brother a couple of years ago so mark will be looking to square things up .

He did indeed. Although I do rate Mark more than Ronnie.

Ronnie was tipped for great things until the Williams fight. Never seemed to come back after that loss.

Definitely be interesting to see if Mark can square things up.

There's genuine bad blood between these two now. Apparently Mark clobbered a load of Liam's family in the crowd after the Ronnie fight (although admittedly this is second hand info).

More importantly, what a quality match-up. First real test for Heffron. He's coming down from SM and Williams stepping up from LM. Potentially fight of the night.

I know Mark had a go at Liam on twitter before he fought Ronnie saying it was going to be an easy night for his brother Ronnie well we know how that one ended

I think Marks size will be too much and he might force the stoppage and cause an upset here.

I'm not sure how easily Heffron makes MW but I've seen him wobble Light-Heavies in sparring so Williams will be in for a tough night whatever way it goes.

was clearing out garage today and in amidst boxes of City programmes was a bit of boxing stuff. I found a tape recording I'd made of the Tyson v Botha fight back in 1999. I stayed up to listen to it live on the BBC. Not sure who was commentating but love the line he said after Tyson nailed Botha after a long time out: "Rust never sleeps". A peach of a punch.
