Boxing? Just get rid of it, it’s wank.

Paddy power did a great skit of it before, everyones complaining it's turning boxing into a circus, yet we all want to see who winsWhich is very, very sad.

We already know who wins. The only reason that I'd watch it is to see Paul getting sparked out. No way should he be in the ring with AJ, which makes me think it will probably be a farce. I certainly won't be staying up to watch it.Paddy power did a great skit of it before, everyones complaining it's turning boxing into a circus, yet we all want to see who wins
Are you 100% on the result mate? I think everyone on the planet knows that a decent smack from Joshua puts Paul into a coma, but the "has he been paid off" aspect makes it a spectacle that the governing body that sanctioned it should be investigated forWe already know who wins. Yep if he goes the distance in this one then we will know he's decided to call it a day, which infairness wouldn't be a bad shout given his last couple of fights, although there is smoke of a fight with Fury, which surely he wouldn't want to lose out onLasts more than 30 seconds and Joshua has fucked his whole career, doubt he'll give a fuck though given the money

Ticktock teeny boppersThe viewership will be off the charts
I don't take boxing remotely seriously but I'd like to see him get hurt purely because like all these 'influencers' he looks like an annoying little **** who is in desperate need of a good slap and it would be really funny.I do take boxing seriously and, although it might not seem very nice to say it, Paul needs to get seriously hurt here. The reason I say that is because eventually, the more this type of fight is allowed to happen, someone will get killed. Better to happen earlier than later,
As much as Joshua will likely to comfortably win - I do think Paul’s probably being trained up by the best in the world, going through all the correct training protocols, been constant weight, gym etc - surely after 5 years? Of doing that he’s got a chance to compete. It’s probably the equivalent of Barnet v a top PL side , in a cup competition 9/10 PL side wins, but it’s not often 5-0 as many would expected, often tight/boring 2-0 win … or a shock.
It's not a fight though, is it? It's an exhibition. I'll bet a million quid that there's all sorts of clauses in the contract about what Joshua is and isn't allowed to do, because if this was a genuine fight, we all know that Paul would be on his arse within 10 seconds and not getting up again. Kinda like this one:I do take boxing seriously and, although it might not seem very nice to say it, Paul needs to get seriously hurt here. I remember this coming up on a podcast. This sort of BS has always been part of boxing. The Hulk Hogan scene in Rocky 3 didn't come out of nowhere. Its staggering how much money is involved in this "fight". Why would Joshua risk injury fighting someone genuine when he can make a fortune fighting a YouTuber?!
Boxing is business and the lines are often blurred between the sport and financial side. If you can create the hype and drama and get rematches and trilogies you stand to make a lot more money. And when you're being punched in the head making money quickly isnt a bad thing and will entice a lot of people more than winning world titles.
For AJ this is win win. He doesn't need to have any more pro fights. He's been a two time world champ and this will put even more money in the bank.
Exactly. If this was genuine, it wouldn't just be a mismatch, it'd be dangerous. Joshua could kill him in a real fight. But this is like Barnet's U16s playing a top side. It's also not football, it's two unevenly matched men swinging for each other. The size difference has a bigger impact.
