pretty even so far, good fight. referee in the earlier heavyweight fight was an absolute disgrace

-- Sun Mar 18, 2012 4:39 am --

cracking round! game onbuckshot said:If you're not watching the Martinez/Macklin fight you might want to, it's getting good.
I do think that having McGirt in his corner will end up costing Macklin though.
yeah thought macklin might have an outside chance when he got that "knockdown" but martinez absolutely battered him after that. world class boxerbuckshot said:Not enough stamina, Martinez certainly doesn't tire like a 37 year old should.

Frampton ? A comfortable win, not seen anything of Ankrah, looking at his record on face value it looks good, but look more deeply and it looks well padded out with plenty of fighters on big losing streaks, very inexperienced or a combination of both, really can't see him having too much trouble with this one at all.
yeah yeah, we all know your dog bangs you out twice a week at least.

That just sounds so wrong lol.
As I saw it, Brook was excellent last night, very composed fighter and will go onto great things I'm sure, but Hatton had him exposed a number of times simply by stepping inside that straight left right using a high guard, left him completely off balance and open to a few good hooks, Hatton didn't have the quality or composure to make the most of it, the company he will be going in with from now on will make him pay, especially right at the very top.
Frampton, quality little fighter and don't know whether he had no choice to take that fight (Leighton ?) but he needs to start moving forward, he's way beyond that level.
Macklin, just unlucky in the end I guess, was always going to be chasing the fight at that stage, had to go for it and got tagged, brave lad it has to be said though.
