The Boxing thread

He'll also learn.

Wilder will give him a chance, but Ruiz will be lighter then.
The first Ortiz fight tells me Ruiz Jr would have stopped Wilder had that fight been between them. Even with a dodgy extra 20seconds after a minutes rest to recover when he looked out on his feet.

That said, since the Fury fight, Wilders last two KOs have been his cleanest yet. He isn't a good boxer in my opinion but he's not wind milling anymore and appears more measured, so he's sharpened his biggest weapon since the first Ortiz fight.

That would be a great match up, so it wont happen knowing Al Haymon.

Ruiz: who wants to see a third fight?

As much as that was a schooling AJ should go nowhere near the third fight. Ruiz is a serious threat and AJ should go for the big v the winner of Wilder Fury. Fight pulev in April then the winner of Wilder Fury in October.

Joshua boxed beautifully. Did what he had to do and not get dragged into a brawl.

Hopefully gets a fight with the winner of Fury & Wilder next year.
