Hope there'll be the 10 bells salute to him tonight at the O2. Pretty sure there will and that the attendees will respect it.

With Joshua, I always feel he is not a boxer that is in boxing for the love of the sport, you have to live and die for boxing and it's in your blood, look nobody likes getting hit, but it's the ones that love the sport and can take the pain because boxing is running through their bodies,

If and when he beats Franklin tonight he'll call out Dilian and when he gets through him it'll be his cash out fight. Either TF or DW will finish him

No

Joshua needs to go and get some anger in his body and you need to be dirty with the ugly stuff,
it's ok being Mr Nice and looking the part body-wise, but you need to be going into the ring to win at all cost

You can smell it a mile off with Joshua, he does not love boxing its just a job for him, The lack of hunger in the belly and the eyes speaks volumes, The best champions have shark eyes, that evil look in they want to kill you,

if I were to train Joshua I would take everything away from him, every penny and his lifestyle the lot,
just give me 2 years of your life away from everybody, and take him to somewhere they have nothing and little money or anything like Liverpool hahha joking, and make him learn what it's like to have nothing but boxing,

you can not build a robot boxer, You need heart and soul with love for the sport

That is exactly how he comes across to me, going through the motions kind of thing with no love or actual desire for boxing outside of the money he gets from it. I don't blame him for it to much, i just can't get invested in him, like you say he is a robot. It is hard to care about someone who does not care themselves about the sport they are in. I also don't like being told something is great when its patently not and being asked to fork out 20 quid to watch it.

He seems a decent enough chap but as far as boxing though he is soulless. He looks like a million dollars but he himself shows you can look like a beast but not have that aggression, that fire in the belly.

One thing that annoys me about boxing in general is the promoters, if they like a boxer they can be bang average and still be pushed as some sort of box office gold ticket. I think Khan was similar, he was ok but never had the chin for the top yet was still being promoted as a superstar after a few huge losses that no top guy would have on his resume. I wonder if there are any really top guys out there who never made it because they did not bend the knee to the promoters?
 
I just watch this from the BBC-sport page and sorry the training Camp staff is all well and dandy, but you are wrong when saying when you put a dog in with the sheep he will become a sheep, NO the dog will eat the sheep because of hunger
