After stopping Parker it looked like Joyce underperformed in the first fight, but last night was worse. If he does come back from it he will be over 40 before he gets a tittle shot, whilst Zhang with the WBO will likely be behind will be behind Hrgovic IBF that he lost too as the mandatory for Usyk, with the WBA mandatory taken care of for now with Dubois.

I can't see Wilder or Joshua types touching Zhang, not enough money for the high risk. Fury may let him age a few years then pick him off, if Fury carries on that long.

His trainer Salas has been with some extremely technical fighters and must be in line for criticism for Joyce to have seemingly learned almost nothing from his time with him.
Hopefully a career ending performance as Joyce's style of fighting is one that you fear could lead to irreparable brain trauma.

Let's make no bones about it, That punch from Zhang could have really done serious damage the way Joyce walked into it, he did not see it coming and rode some of it, Joyce took it full-on and lights out.

Joyce needs to get out of boxing because after last night, he is not it in for the love of the sport but just for the money, Frank Warren does not care about anything else other than making money out of boxers.
