The Boxing thread

What's this mate..?
First I've heard..
There’s a call to ban heading for kids as they believe it can have repercussions later on in life with dementia etc, trouble is many of the older players it’s affected used to play with significantly heavier balls compared to today. I just find it funny if they do succeed then how can they allow kids to box?

I agree in some respects..
Kids skulls aren't fully developed.
16 and over then carry on as usual..
( It'll make them better with their feet anyway it is "football" after all haha..)
I've led a life of getting knocked in the head from an early age and I definitely don't want that for my son.
I do teach him but with caution.
It can only better athletes health when they retire .

Does cole palmer write dubois interviews
Tbf Cole Palmer is just very Manc like..laid back doesn't seem to get above himself or below - pretty level headed bit of a dry sense of humour - proper manc really. Im glad he doesn't pander to the press or social media

Great win for Manchester's Jack Rafferty. Outboxed for the first seven rounds, but started to catch up with Henry Turner in the eighth, piled on the pressure in the ninth, hurt Turner, and Turner's corner pulled him out at the end of the ninth.

Great win for Rafferty, amazing that 2 judges had that level though.
