The Boxing thread

Taylor for me is the most exciting female boxer I have seen, with her it's a war of attrition and IMHO that's what will win her the bout.

The lass has got balls.
Taylor is the best female boxer of all time, She's unbelievable.

I thought she was really good against Cameron in her last fight, She's 38 years of age and obviously showing signs of decline in recent fight.

The worry for me is that she hasn't fought in a year, This is her first fight in 2024, She normally has 2 fights a year minimum so maybe ring rust.

It's going to be a cracking fight.

Do you remember Jane Crouch from Fleetwood? She was probably the pioneer of female boxing. She was apparently a nightmare around Fleetwood before she got into boxing, always scrapping in the pubs. I remember one story about a pub landlord head butting her and knocking himself out lol.

Taking bets isn't relevant.

Years ago when I did watch the WWE/WWF it was possible to place bets on mainstream bookie sites. I assume it still is.
Was that possible at the time? You are clearly talking about WWF and pre. I mean if we are being serious here, the first gut shot from Tyson and Jake Paul is over.

Are people on here insinuating the wrestling isn't real?

She goes in my local, you'd never think she'd boxed, so slight and a really pleasant person.

I can't comment on her 'early years' that you mention as it's well before I arrived at Fleetwood-by-the-Sea.

Yes she turned her life around she was a right headbanger back in the day by all accounts and as hard as nails. It must be something in the water in Fleetwood. I did my navy training at Gravesend back in the seventies with a lad from there nicknamed Moo. Quiet lad but he would fight anybody.
