The Boxing thread

I don't mind wjst I see of Fury.
Good for soundbites and entertainment in the build up, and one of those guys who just seems to enjoy fighting.
A very good boxer who also has phenomenal size and (at least in the past) great recovery capacity.
Generally continues to do his talking in the ring when it's an important match.

But, huge admiration for Usyk. Huge heart, very clever, think he's the better boxer overall.
The size thing will always make it interesting, especially as Fury may decide to use his more this time around.

But I want Usyk to do it again, and believe that he may well just edge it - not on points, but on ability.
Can hardly wait - which is exactly what we all want to see in matchups.

Can't help feeling there is something massively dodgy about this fight. You've got Turki, the money man, openly stating his support for Fury

https://athlonsports.com/nation/box...-turki-alashikh-in-a-video-call-to-tyson-fury

And now this disagreement over a (convenient) replacement judge.
May be me but I feel there is something not right about all this and it's all being geared towards a 3rd fight. I don't believe for one minute that Usyk is having anything to do with this but the other camp and friends seem to be trying to make this happen

So Fury comes in 4st heavier and Usyk a few pounds lighter. Fury wants more power, Usyk speed. If Fury doesn’t get him out of there, Usyk should pick him off in later rounds.
At 20 stone, Fury has about a 2 round window to get to Usyk (which I don't think he will).

At a push, I'm going Usyk to stop an exhausted Fury in round 6...........
