The same Cunningham that Fury sparked out in 7 rounds? They both made the step up to heavy but Haye showed he had the skill and the power to make it at that weight, overall nowhere near as good (slick, fast or skillful however you want to put it) and not as strong as Haye for me.Agree with above, but for one error. Hate was never the undisputed champion as often claimed. It is a mistruth, the truth is there was a certain Steve Cunningham he never fought who iirc was the IBF champion.
Just seen what Bellew mouthed off about him and Price "bouncing" Haye all over the ring in sparring... him and Price share the "deluded scouser" gene for sure(can't believe he called Frank Warren "fish eyes" on live on Sky... idiot lol). The only reason I think he's said that is because he's seen how much Haye has bulked up with his sights firmly on the HW division(at his age he's not going to shed all that weight for one fight) and Bellew has no intention of going up to HW, ... I really hope he does though because I can only see the biggest pasting Bellew's received in is life happening if that fight gets made.
Lol it's the same with Liverpool fans building up their players after a couple of good games, there must be high levels hype in the water over there, remember when we bought Sterling and they said "Jordan Ibe is better anyway" surprised they've shut up about him, he not been in the squad or something?
I know there's a lot of hate for Haye these days after the no show in Germany but as for the rest of it, seems like casuals jumping on the bandwagon and then calling other people casuals. He's not the first fighter to have warm up fights after long stretches out due injury and what not, he's not the first fighter to hype up shit fights they know are just a warm up for them... it's just that it actually works very well for him they would all love make as much as he does for those kind of fights(try as they might). Also many of the contenders such as Parker, Joshua etc don't want any of Haye I don't even think Wilder would agree to a matchup(he has to face one of the English heavies sooner or later... Haye, Fury, Joshua I'd favor any of those over him personally but his best chance is while Joshua is relatively green).
