Should have given him a count - bad refereeing.
Looks like a rematch is on the cards now, although you would expect Cardle will learn more from this and not have a slugfest!

What happened?

One of the best fights I've ever seen was ruined by the ref.
Last round of a 12 round slug, Cardle was hanging on by the skin of his teeth, he then got a decent head shot in too Dodds.
Dodds was then fighting him off when Cardle puts him on his arse, Dodds then gets up straight away but the ref stops the fight before even getting a 1 count in.
In the post match interview Cardle admitted he was behind on points. Hearn's already calling for a rematch.
Dodds deserves tremendous respect for not punching the ref.
