Whyte is obviously the toughest test for Joshua so far, and Joshua hasn't had to take any real shot of note so far. Whyte's record is a bit misleading though, yes he's unbeaten, but so was Cornish. If you look at the calibre of Whyte's opponents, and their records, they aren't too impressive. Whilst Joshua's opponents have all been taken out quickly at least some of them had decent win/loss records beforehand. 12 of Joshua's 14 fights have been against fighters who have won more than they have lost, whereas with Whyte it's just 9 from 16, and 3 of those had less than 5 fights in total to their name.
Thats the thing you can only fight who is put in front of you. Whyte will be AJs hardest test. This build up reminds me of Groves v DeGale fight in the build up DeGale was the favourite but Groves beat DeGale in the amaturs. Its history repeating here with AJ and Whyte I dont think it will be the same result but I think it will be a tough fight for both guys this weekend. We will learn more from this fight with AJ than any ever fight the first time were theres been a lot of heat and hate between both men. Saturday got some good grudge matches and it will be a good fights on the night.
