Too many fingers in too many pies. Until that changes boxings credibility will continue to suffer.
Yeah, Garcia's the fightHe needs his belt though otherwise he loses a big bargaining tool. His profile in the US isn't that high and he's too good of a fighter to fight without gaining either a shed load of money, or a belt. He might fight Vargas given he's probably one of the weaker belt holders. Would like to see him fight Garcia personally.
To be fair to Khan as wel,l he has taken a good number of high risk fights, some which have worked out for him and some which haven't, but he's not been afraid to travel, and like you say, he has weaknesses. Fair play to him really, he's been chasing a superfight for 2 years now and he's finally got one. Not one he can win really, but it's a good earner, and provided he makes it interesting or gives a decent account of himself, the Brook fight is still there and that will net him a small fortune. He's suffering a little like calzaghe did... He's too much of a risk and not really a name in the states.. The reason khan gets the opportunities he does is because of weaknesses in his game, brook doesn't have many!!
It's the IBF's fault this one. Making him fight god awful mandatories. Otherwise he loses his belt.

Missed one mate roberto. It's all about money these days. I remember the good ol' days of Leonard, Hearns, Hagler et al.
All hard as fucking nails and none scared to step in the ring with each other. Respect.

His level of opposition is miles ahead of Brook's. Think Brook would beat him though.
