well i loved naz as a child and im sure i will warm to this Boner fella ;)
Santiago Street . said:Broner's a class act in the ring and a nice lad doing a piss poor impersonation of Floyd Womanbeater outside it. How poorly advised must the kid be to try to ape that charmless criminal's brash persona in public. When interviewed by arselicking Yanks he throws in all these appallingly scripted lines mid interview that are totally cringeworthy, yet when he popped over to have a word with Rees and Adam Smith grabbed him for a few words he revealed himself to be a decent lad once his paid goons weren't around to "laugh" at his lines.
I think he'll hang on to fight Burns/Vasquez at lightweight as there isn't a megafight at 140 for him. With all due respect to Garcia, he didn't look like a world class fighter until Khan left his chin dangling in the air so I can't see him troubling Broner unduly. Rios might be an interesting fight as would Khan with his new found focus on defence.
It's gonna be fun to watch this kid develop

Yet to see him taking a shot and that wont happen until he moves up weight and fights a bit of a banger. Would love to see him fighting Pacman or Marquez to see just how good he is as fighters at his weight aint lasting him long. Rees put up a decent showing and will be getting the odd offer from the US as he did well and took to him so you wouldnt know who they could put him in with. Sadly with Broner about he wont win a World title in this weight division.

Broner looked very classy against a tough opponent. Didn't like to see the showboating though, doing the Apollo Creed thing.
Only Apollo Creed gets to do that. Someone should let Broner know this.

He might have to actually fight someone who has a chance of beating him to fulfill that.
Floyd v Ghost in May with Canelo v Trout on the undercard, winner fights Floyd in Autumn probably

It's complete bollocks and deep down they know that.
Floyd v Guerrero and then Floyd v Canelo promises to be brilliant watching.

This fight is going to be a classy fight. I think this will be Moneys hardest fight so far. Still think he may well get the decision but I wouldnt be shocked if it was a split decision with the 2 also having a rematch after the fight in the favour of Money.

leighton said:Conor its too early for the Canelo to fight Money. Its all building up to a fight later on in the year. IF Canelo looks good against Trout which will be Canelo's hardest fight. The winner of that fight will be the next in line to fight Money. Trout's a good fighter might not have a 1 punch KO punch on him but he is a strong fighter and could well upset Canelo its a real pick em fight. I would be taking a close eye on this fight and if there is good odds for either fighter I will be lumping on Trout think Paddy Power has him at a little bit over 2/1 now.

Both Canelo and Trout have beat better guys than Guerrero, as has Martinez for that matter. Guerrero's best win is an Andre Berto coming off a slapping from Ortiz.
Martinez, Trout, Canelo. Any of those 3 is acceptable.
Listen mate, you were saying there was nothing wrong with the Devon Alexander fight last week. You are obviously blinded when it comes to Floyd's choice of opponents.leighton said:Guerrero is under rated a 4 weight world champion and in your trying to say that its not acceptable for this fight to get the go ahead. Come on Conor there is nothing wrong with this fight. Its a good fight both fighters have gone up the weights and won world titles its far from being a shit fight.

It is a shit fight. Who cares about belts? Who has he beat to win them? He has had 2 fights since moving up from lightweight ffs.
The 3 names I've mentioned have all beaten better opponents and are more deserving of the fight.
Stop saying Canelo isn't ready for Mayweather as well. He's more ready than Guerrero will ever be and he brings in massive PPV sales. In an ideal world for Floyd, Trout will beat Alvarez and then Floyd won't have to fight the winner because 'Trout isn't a PPV attraction'.
Bullshit? Are you saying you didn't defend that fight? Alexander being 'the only available fight' was your reason for defending it if I remember rightly.leighton said:conormcfc said:Listen mate, you were saying there was nothing wrong with the Devon Alexander fight last week. Bullshit mate. I mentioned pages back that he could well be using Alexander as a way to get this fight on and that was the case. Your on about PPV sales Guerrero v Money will do well even if Canelo wasnt on the card. Canelo is a good fighter that needs to be tested a little bit more before he is ready for the fight with Money. I wouldnt be shocked if this fight is a year away for Canelo. He will have a point to prove when he fights Trout so lets see how he does on the same card as Money. Its simple. If I was managing Canelo I would wait until next year for the Money fight. Catch him a year later and he could well be beatable in my opinion. I get the feeling with you Conor you just dont want to give Money any praise at all 1 of the most techincally gifted fighters of all time.
