The Boxing thread

You can tell who Boxnation want to win, there's not been a lot in the last few rounds(GGG lands the odd shot but nothing sustained) but Canelos been making GGG miss a heck of a lot and some good countering, I've been scoring them to Canelo despite the pressure from GGG, simply because it's not effective pressure if little is getting through.

Huge punch from canelo there, all the telling shots have been his. GGG's not landed much clean. Has to be his round that but boxnation calling it to GGG?
 
Gave Canelo the first 3 and he won the last 3 atleast, I get that GGG was applying pressure but he wasn't landing clean and was missing alot. Boxnation just gave no credit to Canelos defence, which fighter was wasting shots and which was landing telling shots?

Nah I think Boxnation flavoured people opinions there... I do not subscribe to giving rounds on pressure alone if your not landing. Too many shots missing, on the gloves and being rolled... look how clean Canelos face is after the fight.
 
GGG easily won that, how the fuck can you score that for Canelo and claim there's no bias? Utter bs decision. Ggg won by at least 4 rounds.
 
GGG came forward the whole fight but Canelo hit the cleaner shots.
A draw though ffs
 
Pressure alone doesn't win you rounds. Again look at Canelos face, it's mark free GGG's is more puffy infact(look at that left cheek ffs)... against the biggest puncher and you're telling me he is 4 rounds up? Rubbish sorry GGG fans.

I agree Canelo up by 8 rounds is bullshit though, don't get how they scored it that way.

In short a draw is not that far fetched, GGG took the middle of the fight start and end was Canelo's.
