Respect to Fury great fight
Technically Fury is a boxing genius and probably won more rounds.
However he didn't have Wilder in any real trouble at all.
The more I watch that final knockdown the more dubious I am. Like it was planned to make the draw more credible.
Both want another big payday before being ended by AJ.
Lol fella, go to bed. Haha.
Bit of a contradiction there. He completely outboxed him and if that had been judged properly, Fury would have had Wilder in all the trouble he needed.Technically Fury is a boxing genius and probably won more rounds.

I meant the part about thinking the knockdown in the 12th was dubious.I think AJ would beat both of them.
Wilder would be a bigger threat because of his power.
AJ's a better boxer than Wilder and would land more often against Fury and have a better chance of knocking him out.
Maybe so, the knockdowns cost him though.
Wonder what AJ is thinking now.
Gyp... traveller innit, Irish catholics i think.
That was a great fight to watch, result is a sham but what a fantastic fight from Fury. Total hollywood stuff getting up from that, Stallone will be gutted that just shit on his film.

You must have had a great drink mate if you think that knockdown was staged! He didn't have Wilder in any trouble but just outboxed him in almost every round. No dispute whatsoever who was ahead on points.
To beat an American champion in his backyard Fury had to do more particularly as he was knocked down twice.
The two knockdowns are worth four normal rounds alone meaning Wilder only had to win two other rounds to be level.
And yet it's still up in the air as to whether amateur boxing will be at the Olympics because of corruption in the scoring in Rio. And does anyone remember the Taokwondo at Beijing where anyone who faced a Chinese opponent basically had to knock them out for any of their kicks to register, but glancing hits by Chinese competitors were always counted? There was even one point where the fighter turned to the judges to complain as the fight was happening. It's not true that having ongoing judging gets rid of corruption. As I understand it, for a punch to register, all three judges have to press their button within a certain time of each other, so you only need one corrupt judge to sway the result.I'm sure that amateur matches, certainly at International/Olympic level have the on going score clearly displayed. Quite why professional boxing doesn't is bizarre. I can't think of any other sport where the score isn't known until around 5 minutes after the event and is not open to question or immediate review.
Wrong. That would still leave 8 rounds so would be 8-6 as it should have been. And say what you want about winning in the backyard of a champ etc, for the Italian judge to give the first four to Wilder is outrageous.
