The Boxing thread

In the proper fight tonight Daniel Dubois the outstanding young Heavyweight around takes on unbeaten Joe Joyce.
Stongly fancy Dubois to make a statement but think Joyce will go on and win some big fights in the future
If Joyce loses this how does he get any of the big fights? He's 35!

I think I've said this before but Warren's nuts if he put this match together with any thought that Dubois could lose.

So Dubois to win.

Dubois with a mid to late stoppage. Would not surprise me though if the bigger, more experienced man stops him early though. I know I won't be saying this in hindsight after the fight, but it feels like the closest 50/50 domestic match up for a while.

If Dubois loses, he's young enough to bounce back. Win or bust really for Joyce, he's on a fast track to a world title shot.

Frank will match him probably vs Tony Yoka in a repeat of Olympic final and if he wins that he'll get a shot as a voluntary.
There's also the possibility of a rematch If tonight isn't conclusive.

Dubois needs to be a tad careful not to gas here. Joyce is getting some jabs in on him every time he comes forward.
