The Boxing thread

Saw a video of the Okolie fight from the crowd, probably not even half full and people walking out in their hundreds mid fight.

They were giving away free tickets in the arndale yesterday apparently.

He talked to my wife in the local post office, he was sending off his licence forms to be able to box.

I'd have gone if it was free. Genuinely disappointed how poor Okolie was. Very one dimensional and just looking for the big right hand. Light just kept circling away from it and Okolie was clueless. He'd throw it anyway and miss and then just grab Light so he didn't have anything coming back at him. Half the fight was Okolie hugging Light. Referee should have got involved a lot sooner.
 
Okolie first fight with Sugar Hill not making excuses but first fight under new trainers is always hard to judge on. Sugar Hill will always be a certain style and that's what we will see in the next few fights.

it has to be an easy fight for Joshua tonight. just to get some of that confidence back and put him back on the map and try and get a bigger fight with Tyson Fury in late summer,

With Joshua, I always feel he is not a boxer that is in boxing for the love of the sport, you have to live and die for boxing and it's in your blood, look nobody likes getting hit, but it's the ones that love the sport and can take the pain because boxing is running through their bodies,
