Mirror what everyone is saying, probably too soon a stoppage but it looked pretty clear which way it was going and Wardley can definitely bang

Top fight.

I disagree with most in that I don't believe the stoppage was that premature as Parker wasn't in a good way I'm not saying he was dying on his feet and I've no doubt Parker could've taken it, you've gotta protect yourself though at all times and those punches wouldn't have stopped coming from Wardley until the very end of that round, you've gotta think of the long-term health of these guys I definitely feel sorry for Parker as he definitely deserved a title shot these past couple years.

It's a shame both men can't get one based on that effort but well done to Fabio Wardley though excellent performance from him tireless, relentless energy his movement was a little underestimated in that fight and he showed great recovery from punches as well, he now earns a world title shot against Usyk too glad he gets a title shot he's been pure entertainment when I've seen him.

It was a great fight and I know the pundits had Wardley 3 down before round 10 but I had it even after 10 rounds, Wardley has a granite chin and both in there tonight are tough bastards they're a credit to heavyweight boxing.

The co commentator said he's surprised the stoppage happened but I think that's utter nonsense, he should know better you cannot continue to take punches without a reply simple as especially in the heavyweight division, if the referee lets it carry on and Parker gets hurt in this fight then he instantly becomes the biggest wanker going.

I believe it was the right decision.

Yeah on reflection the ref has to consider the welfare of the fighters and that overrides the spectacle and a possible knock out ..

I agree. But gutted for Parker, I really wanted him to go on and Fight Usyk.

In relation to the stoppage, there was a minute still left in that round, Parker look exhausted. If there was 20-30 seconds left maybe the ref let's him go to the bell. That fight off the ropes I think was Parker last bit of effort. He needed to clinch, tie Wardley up anything to survive the round. The fact he could't do that meant he was struggling more than we know. The bloke is incredibly tough and his lack of reaction probably undersells how heavy those punches were.

Parker looked huge and sluggish, whilst Wardley moved about like a light heavyweight.
I could see the same result as last night if Usyk had of been in that ring with Parker, a late stoppage

There's a decent night of boxing on in Hull on 8th November. Live on DAZN, its named "the heist". If anyone fancies 2 free tickets let me know ASAP please. No catch other than cant be a new account (unless Ric or someone can vouch that youre a genuine blue). First come gets them (yes i know Hull isnt exactly Vegas but still should be good night).

You got to feel for Joe Parker. The guy was to fight Dubois waiting around for a world title fight for so long then gets questionable stoppage. In fights like these let it play out until the end of the round. Howard Foster can be a questionable ref at times. I think a more active Parker is so dangerous in that division got a great team around him. He will come back stronger.

Good luck to big blue Brad Rea this weekend against dirty red but still a good guy Lyndon Arthur

Might not be a cracker as Lyndon’s style doesn’t really lend itself to barn burners but a big fight and a lot on the line nonetheless

Not the best stoppage but not the worst. The questionable thing for me is how or why a guy puts on 15 to 20 lbs of solid muscle in his mid 30s after a switch to a camp who are no strangers to doping controversies.

I think Parker’s recent run of wins were overrated, he’s world level but he’s not elite and I think he reached his ceiling when he won an alphabet title years ago.

Spot on.
Wardley has done excellent things but he's going to come unstuck soon. He'd handle the likes of Whyte, Chisora and Wilder but if matched with Usyk, Itauma and probably Kabayel, Joshua or Fury he'd be unable to rely on his equaliser.

Parker won against whoever he was matched with during that time. Wardley v Whyte won't happen isn't Whyte his manager still?
I don't know what camp your saying has had the doping in it. I fully will always say any trainer would never know what there fighters are taking. They can't be with them 24/7.
Now whatever nutritionist attached to the team they might know but in all it's down to the fighter to know what he is taking. Every year they get lists of drugs they can't take so the buck lies with them alone.
