I'd be asking that question more of the people who actually take the time to sit and watch these repeated shitshows. It's utter nonsense.Is there really nothing else Paul can do with his life? What a circus.
Due to better than expected boxing ability on his part or a pre agreed scenario where AJ wouldn't do anything with any kind of power on it for a few rounds?Fcuk me he lasted 6 rounds
I just watched the highlights and that is what it was. The full fight must have been boring.Hard to fight someone who doesn't want to fight. All I see it running away and then falling over when cornered.

Half of which Jake was running around the ring and falling over to time waste.
Just watched it and the for me it looked like AJ was under instructions not to do anything for 4 rounds. He dint jab, any big punch he did throw missed by a foot and he just went through the motions. Then round five he actually tried and knocked him down over and over and then knocked him out.
I think AJ did what he had agreed to do for the first 4 rounds.Think he knew if he bided his time Paul would start to blow and he’d get his chance. don’t think AJ did much wrong, smashed him by round 6 as about expected.
I think AJ did what he had agreed to do for the first 4 rounds.
Yeah I thought that. Was it a lot bigger than a standard ring? Gave Paul the space to just run away for 4 rounds.Ring was massive, always going to struggle in that size
Don't pretend it was any better in your day, Muhammad Ali vs. Antonio Inoki 1976 was the biggest farce I have seen, worse than Foreman fighting 5 men in one night in 1975.I've read the last few pages of this thread.
That's the be all and end all of my interest in this joke of a so called boxing match.
The money they both earned i understand them doing it.
I don't understand why anyone would pay to watch it.
Then again at 57 years old it's a different world we live in than what I was brought up in.
Bank balances = win
Boxing = loser's
