He's already said that he intended to retire if he lost this. Hopefully he just stays on the straight and narrow.

The problem is with him I get the impression he is constantly in a state of denial. He might say that now then wake up and try and take the positives from it and just carry on rather than look at what I think what most of us realise, but to be fair that must be a very difficult thing to do to look in the mirror like that.

As I said on the other thread, I just hope he finds some sort of peace of mind for the sake of himself and his family.

I didn't think his comeback was a good idea but that being said I feel sad after seeing that tonight and just hope he finds a way to deal with it, or the consequences for him could be bad.

Heartbreaking interview at the end, have to be worried about his emotional fragility. Just hope he doesnt do anything silly

Shame. Had Shenchenko winning on the cards at the time of the KO anyway.

Senchenko isn't even world level.

Showtime Sports on Twitter just said judges had it 77-76, 77-76 and 78-74 all in favour of Hatton when stopped.

That was horrendous to see. He surely has to call it a day now. He has gven us many happy memories and was a true champion. He looks fragile mentally and i hope to god he can keep on the straight and narrow. Even people in his own camp knew, he shouldnt have come back but he obviously had a burning desire to try and prove himself one last time.

I should've added that I would've expected Hatton to get the gift decision if it went the distance, what with it being in Manchester.

Malignaggi looked gutted at the end, his first 7 figure payday out of the window. He was still trying to talk up the fight at the end haha.

It's all set up for Kell Brook now. As for Hatton.... he could have at least chosen to go out in a contest against..... Junior Witter! haha

Any sign of Leighton?

Think he owes me and LongsightM13 an apology mocking Scott Quigg!
The best performance of the night absolute star in the making.

Bring on Frampton!

Didnt see it but I have heard from a certain number of people that Munroe was poor on the night and Quigg won well. Also heard that Quigg wasnt too keen on a match up with Frampton yet again. Munroe hasnt looked the same since the World title lost he had. People have said that Molitor is past his best but from reports I heard that Munroe didnt look like anything.

Also a fight with Frampton how many times has Frampton called out Quigg on Skys boxing coverage??? Quigg doesnt want anything to do with Frampton Joe Gallachger doesnt want anything to do with a match up. How long does Frampton have to call Quigg out?? Its plain to see that the fight wont happen as Quigg / Hatton Promotions dont want to have Quigg in the same ring as Frampton while on the other hand Hearn / McGugian and Frampton has been calling him out all the time up till the Munroe 1 FIGHT got made. Since then Hearns and Frampton have decided to go a different route as in fighting against Molitor and even Kiko Marthinez if the fight goes ahead.

As for Ricky too long out of the ring. Taking way too many shots and his defence wasnt there. The only reason why Ricky came back no TV deal. A one fight contract with Primetime on pay tv he will find it hard to get a tv deal but with Quigg he might be able to get someone on to show his fights. 1 last pay day for Hatton that went wrong.

Aye Ricky you have nothing to prove mate. Take a rest, watch City, get married, take up fishing, become a football-boxing pundit, celebrity come dancing or dancing on ice.

Best wishes stay fit

An apology for what??? Quigg got dropped in his fight before Munroe 1 and I would worry about if he can take a shot. Frampton has power and a great boxing movement and boxing skills he can box as well as he can bang as they say.

I'm only joking about an apology mate but it would be nice if you gave Scott Quigg a bit of credit for once? We know you are pro Frampton and thats fair enough.

After watching quigg take munroe apart its hard to imagine frampton would of done a better job i think the quigg vs frampton fight will be a lot closer than some people think its gonna be .

As they say mate "Love is blind" ;-)

Leighton, for what it's worth pal, I think Frampton shades it, late stoppage or points, but it will be a fantastic match-up regardless and either one will have to be top of their game to pull it off.

Before the first fight, Leighton predicted Munroe would knock Quigg out. So it's a bit churlish now to say Rendall was past it only a few months later. Was Munroe bad, or was he made to look bad?
For what it's worth, I think Quigg v Frampton is a 50-50 fight, I certainly wouldn't like to put my wages on the outcome, but come on Leighton — your lack of credit for Quigg simply because he is a rival of Frampton is reminiscent of your blind support for Given over Joe Hart. And that now looks a bit silly, with the benefit of hindsight and Shay's sorry decline after the injury at Arsenal, which he never recovered from.
Just because you prefer one man, it doesn't mean his rival is useless. I still maintain Hagler beat Sugar Ray and was robbed for political reasons, but that doesn't mean Leonard didn't also box brilliantly that night.
Nobody knows what will happen but I would love the fight to happen. Along with Fury v Price, it is probably the best potential match up over here.

yep agree its one of the better domestic fights right now, 50-50 like you say, not sure any of them will make it at the top top leevl though and i think framptons power is over rated
