Fuck me that was impressive.

The real deal, great hand speed and power to match.

Fair play to the other lad he took a beating and stayed strong for 7 rounds when most would have gone way before.

He's already showing he is something special, there's some people who are going to have to just accept they were wrong about him being all hype looks like he is going to be the real deal if he keeps this rate of progression up, it ain't just casuals giving him plaudits anymore.

Exactly the kind of step up he needed, evident from the first round he was several classes above him as a boxer(so it's not simply because he's built like a tank, some moan about the level of opposition but an Elite fighter wouldn't look any better against those fighters either because he's trounced them all, what more do you want?) also he's faster than Wilder and more powerful for me, after the Parker fight he'll be ready for him IMO... so he should chase that fight before Fury gets it.

My only criticism of him on tonight is it seems like he needs the other fighter to force something different out of him, like he is happy to just show us only as good as he needs to be for the opponent rather than how good he can really be when he pushes himself. The combo that opened Breazeale up came after Joshua got caught with something, Joshua immediately starts moving his head, moving his feet more and then let his hands go like he knows he would have to against better opposition. He could have done all of that several rounds earlier, could have gone to the body more, perhaps some upstairs downstairs combos to keep him guessing. Stick to the gameplan sure but in between the action when the opponent is giving you opportunities without being all that good on the counter he should have used it to try what else works for him, could have learned even more from this fight.

I like my boxing without being an expert. I thought AJ beating Dillan whyte was impressive. But I'd never heard of this guy. Appreciate he was undefeated but was he held in high regard over the pond. He had heart to be fair but from minute one there was one outcome.

Job done by AJ, at least Breazeale came for a fight, however one sided it was. I'd of docked Charles Martin half his purse for the effort he put in, without taking anything away from Joshua's finish. After the Parker fight it'll be time to step up. Can't fault Haye for biggin his chances up on camera, think he beats Briggs comfortably in Sept then he's back in the mix. I think Wilder would be a great fight, making it happen is another thing. AJ will only get better, and for me go on to rule the division.

Boxed well tonight Joshua i thought, rather than his performance v Martin where he was just throwing huge shots and looking totally unorthodox, fair play to Breazeale, took some digs tonight the lad.

Felt as though AJ deliberately backed off to get some rounds in! You saw it in the 3rd when he sent Breazeale stumbling, normally he would go in and knock his opponent down but instead he allowed Breazeale to gain his composure and continue fighting.... I think he's been told to at least make 6 or 7 rounds because when he fought Whyte he looked fucked after the 4th and almost paid for it....

Brilliant fight between Thurman & Porter, could of gone either way. Think the judges got it just about right, hope there's a rematch.

Kell currently looks like a cruiser.
