the city app is finally here

did have a work laptop last year but in September was given a new one and we aren't allowed iTunes on it, bastards! I've got about 40 CD's at home that i don't have on my phone and obviously the new software.

So apple will update it for me will they in store? Cheers mate.

Oh will it cost me?

If you take it to an apple store they should do it for you no charge. They will just have to connect your iphone to one of the laptops in store and run the update. You may have to book an appointment though depending when you are planning on going.

As for the app itself - job well done. I have to travel a lot with work so this is ideal to keep me up to date.

the app is good though it should include better ticket info from the site rather than just saying tickets are available. Ticket news articles don't seem to show up in the News section. what does it mean on the OS when it says '£2.99 for the rest of the season@ ... presumably this is not a subscribed app? not that I'm bemoaning £3 a season, but it doesn't say this when you buy it.

Would be interesting to see download figures for this app.
How would one find this out, does the Itunes Store display this?

Its number 9 in the app stores, "top paid" apps list!

Nicely executed app, works a treat on wi-fi. Hope they sort out the 3G reception problems at the stadium or offer free wi-fi access, otherwise won't be usable on O2 there.
I can pick a free wi-fi up in 220
