The clubs PR/Media team

They did a pretty good job this morning as even Talkshite laughed the story out of court. Can't hold them responsible for that demented idiot tweeting stuff. Hopefully someone will have a quiet but firm word with Yaya at some point. There are some times you need to keep quiet and hgive the other side enough rope to hang themselves, rahter than getting into a slanging match.

Please hand in your resignations. A group of fucking chimps could do a better job with the clubs image than these lot have. This has been going on for years and it's the same old story time after time with the club just having the piss taken by all and sundry and them not doing a single thing about it. This Yaya agent situation is the straw that has broken the camels back. Have a mad agent chatting shit about the club and not a single thing being done. Obviously went for a fucking liquid lunch.

Are you related to Yayas so called "agent" ? Just asking as you both appear to be talking out of your fucking aresholes.

This whole ABU project is about building the MCFC brand at home and abroad. Branding is critical to developing ' reputation ' and large organisations defend their brand to the hilt. Today we have seen the MCFC brand dragged through the gutter by the media and our response has been - silence, passive acceptance .
If we were BP,Shell ,Pfizer we would be all over this, defending the brand -denying ,clarifying and challenging. Its called damage limitation ...Meanwhile our PR people sit on their hands and allow the media to gorge on what's left of our self respect... Piss poor in my view.

I think the strategy which the club has adopted from the start has been to ignore the nonsense, the lies, and the general bias which is so evident throughout the season. What I can't understand is that, while you cannot get hacks to write 'nice' stuff if they have a malevolent streak, we still wine and dine them. They should be shown the fuckin' door with a stiff three line explanation of why!! Also, a two line explanation of how they might find themselves inside Carrington and inside The Etihad in the future were they to exhibit a bit of even-handedness and common sense! But there again, I know fuck all about running a business!

The PR team have done a superb job in recent times. There has been a noticeable shift in perception of the club on the big issues (FFP, youth setup, Mancini) from most of the popular journalists. It has been a long term strategy but it is working. A few years ago the angle of todays Yaya situation would have been about infighting, players not happy etc. But now it's just genuine laughter at Yaya and his agent. Nobody is using this as an attack on the club and thats down to continued good work with the press.

Miles off the mark. But I digress.

Jesus , read this again and then have a word with yourself

How would you deal with this then, some kind of thought police to stop people unconnected with the club mouthing off things that you would rather keep in house ?

Silence was always City response on stuff like this.

When you response you are just adding fuel to the shit. You stay silent and just let it go quiet after day or two.
