It's not City's fault that it's the time of the year when agents start players' pay negotiations with selective leaks to the media. The Ya Ya and Milner to quit stories are just the start. I hate the tabloid parasites as much as anyone but you can hardly blame them for covering the birthday cake story. Our much-maligned media team should stay well clear of this farce. Decisions on contracts will be taken in a cool way behind closed doors.

There should be a press release and retract net from Yaya or a confirmation at least

Blues are pissed off at the club for this one side of incompetence, it's been the same for a couple of years.

Yes on the field is great, but off it , communication wise is shit, especially when we get mauled in the media.

As mods you allow Agenda threads like fucking confetti, yet when someone states that these Agenda's can be dealt with better by our PR department you get all precious. You can't have it both ways

What has this got to do with the fans? This is the clubs business, not ours. Yes, we support the club, but we shouldn't be briefed on what is going on behind the scenes until it's been dealt with behind the scenes first. They'll deal with it how they please and once they know more about what's going on and where everyone stands on the matter, I'm sure we will be told.

The only ones getting "mauled by the media" here are Yaya and his agent and we don't even know what Yaya really thinks at the moment.

What exactly would you want them to say anyway?
 
Nobody is pissed off with the club. Everybody is laughing at Yaya, and it is entirely self inflicted. Both him and his agent strike me as being complete idiots and lacking in self awareness. How do the club deal with that other than attempt to get Yaya to see sense behind the scenes?
 
this is just a an episode in a series of agenda's from the Toure camp, this time its directed at the club.

The club dont have to anything, the only harm the Toure camp is doing, is to themselves.
