The Co-op Live Arena

PAUL McCARTNEY ......

I only know because of the long queues 'in the rain' to get in which are getting 'slated' in the Manchester Evening News, it sounded like it was disorganised chaos beforehand, trying to get into the venue, with women being forced to use nearby woodland to relieve themselves..

Apparently everybody had eventually got in by the time the concert had started at 8.15 though.

Must be on some good medication to keep going that long! Not many icons of music left good to see him still going strong

It’s going to be a bit mad at the arena tonight, with the City game not finishing until about half 6.

Said this last night. Don’t know what what happened, none of the other gigs I’ve been to there were as poorly organised as Macca’s and adding in a stadium full of football fans trying to find their way out won’t make it any better.

That's beggared it. Since the cock up with street parking and the recent demise of my functioning lungs. The missus begrudgingly drops me off and picks me up on match days. She can't stick Paul McCartney, often saying she wouldn't be within 10 miles of him. Looks like I'll be on GMPT. If you see a bloke puffing and blowing, say hello.

Just to echo what others said really, if you're going tonight get there early as it was horrendous outside. We struggled with taxis as well getting there. I really can't understand the logic in having the Derby at City AND a big gig on at the same time.

However, once we got in he was absolutely incredible. He nailed everything even the acoustic stuff. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him again in another 10 years as he can still do it.

If you're going tonight you're really in for a treat to see a genuine living legend.

Certain "singers" (loose definition of the term) could do worse than watch this fella. That is how you do it fellas.

Did he do the Frog Chorus ?
All time classic that :-)

Going to Paul Heaton tomorrow night at the Co-op Arena, still around 20 tickets left on Viagogo starting at £22 up to £100, around 8 x pairs as well, great value at £22. The tickets I bought were £26, originally £48 so a bit of a bargain, really looking forward to it.
