What, so 2 games against England? That's what most of the people talking shite have seen of him.

To make your judgement of a player on 2 games is embarrassing. A fact which me and loads of others who have watched him plenty of times have been pointing out for months. People never learn do they.

Everyone who's watched him at least somewhat regularly raves about him and for good reason.

I think most of his hype is taken with a pinch of salt because of the league he is playing in, and the quality of his national team vs the lack of quality in the teams they play against normally.

People will be happy to say they're wrong when he does what he does in a top league.

A) Loads have people have said this is a crap Brazil team.

B) They probably play against better teams than any European nation does in qualifying/friendlies. He has 22 goals and 13 assists in not even 36 caps. Pisses all over any other top striker's international record, never mind a wide man.

C) I bet people don't admit they were wrong. They'll just deny that they ever said he was overrated. Same as they did with Ibra (another player that they obviously didn't watch regularly and it took a hat trick against the great England for them to take notice).

Well said, Neymar is light years ahead of any player his age. Balotelli is the only player and he has less skill than Neymar.

A. Brazil are by no means a crap team. They aren't at the same level they were, but most of their starters play at the top level of club football.

B.Goals against:
USA/Scotland/Ecuador/Costa Rica/China/Iraq/Japan/Colombia/Bolivia/Chile... they aren't exactly top quality teams.
Fair enough he did score against Germany, Argentina and Mexico.

C. I've never said Neymar isn't talented (not saying you've said I have btw), he clearly has the potential to be a wonderful player. But until he does it at the highest level, for me he is not what i would regard as world class.

I've said it many times but look at someone like C.Ronaldo's international record. Neymar has scored more goals against top teams at 21 than he has at 28.

Now, the competition takes place every four years and features the reigning champions of the six confederations that make up Fifa, with Spain travelling as representatives of European governing body Uefa.
The final two places are taken by the World Cup holders, plus the next hosts, although with Spain the reigning world and European champions, Euro 2012 runners-up Italy have been invited as the eighth team.

Uruguay - Copa America
Italy - Euros (Spain are already there so the runners up qualify)
Nigeria - African cup of nations
Mexico - Gold cup (North American tourney)
Japan - Asian cup
Tahiti - fuck knows

Brazil are in as hosts.
