The Conservative Party

Well as you ignored my point that with no GE in sight, May enyrenched and propped up by the DUP, the opposition are in no posititon to remove this government at present.

And I never called venuzuela a media set up, did I? No I said the report with people in dilapidated hospitals and strugling to feed themselves is being seen with outrage(understandadly) bur the same shit is happening here and ignored by our press, which is why it's bullshit duplicity.

And I never called called chuka and smith new labour, I called them twats, which they are, that bring fuckall to the party or country but self interest.

New labour reminants I am talking about are the likes of McNichol going on telly living in 1998 and offering nowt

Your a centrist, I get it, I'm not, I think corbyn isa tosser by and large, but to say labour are failing to topple tge gevernemtnis ridiculous, the fixed term parliament stops that.

Only way to topple th egovernment atm is revolition or a royalist military coup, both thing won'tever happen so we are stuck where we are.

And this thread is about the tories not Labour so can, I get back to calling them ****s

I didn’t ignore it though did I?

My whole point is that Labour should change leadership if it has no chance of beating the government, revolution is what you mentioned and we’ll have a GE when it’s time.

Well you mentioned the focus on it as the media trying to paint a picture, the people in Venezuela who are eating out of bins and are living in complete poverty are qualified doctors, bus drivers, teachers etc...people who all had jobs not long ago, it’s en masse, It’s not a homeless crisis like here, it’s a general population crisis.

I’m not saying our situation is ok, it’s not, it’s a fucking disgrace and needs sorting but it’s utterly incomparable to the situation in Venezuela, that’s why the media focus is there.

Well you said the below, right after mentioning Chuka etc. hence why I thought that.

Nw labour remenants have fuck all to offer

1998 is a lot closer than 1978 mate, where Corbyn and his team live.

We had a GE 18-20 months ago, Corbyn would have won had he had the faintest idea on how to win one, that’s the point, Labour should have been leading the Brexit talks but he failed to capitalise on the worst government in my life.

They’re falling further behind despite the government getting worse and the antisemitism row is a disgrace to the party, one in which I used to have faith in.

Violent revolution should be the last option and if there is a dictatorship you cannot vote out. We’ll have a GE again soon enough as British Democracy works it’s way.

Good, I’m glad you don’t, at least we agree there.

I’m actually a Social Democrat so left of centre if anything.

Does this study take into account the fact that Labour constituencies that voted to leave amount to 70%?
Does it presume that all these areas have now changed their minds, and suddenly want to remain? I doubt it.
It's no good just asking Labour voters, many of them come from seats which have big Labour majorities, plus it says
'Polling for the Corbyn supporting momentum group,' which we all know, is heavily for remain, but that fact does not transfer to
the constituencies.
The uncomfortable truth for Labour is that the leave vote includes the majority of it's seats, momentum can have 5 million members,
it's irrelevant, they won't turn into Labour seats, and Momentum, and its vacillating leader, are not gaining traction.
The 70% of labour constituencies voted leave actually doesn’t mean anything.
What Corbyn would be better off doing though is supporting Brexit or opposing Brexit, not walking the tightrope of trying to seem as if he supports both and therefore, appearing to stand for nothing.

If you want to console yourself with denial, well hey ho.
Why call an election? Anyone in opposition always wants one, anything to try and gain office, but there won't
be one, May already fucked up by calling an election in the presumption that her majority would increase, I can't see
the next PM, who looks like taking over in summer, according to reports, calling for one, there is no need.
But to have this government still ahead in polls, is remarkable, after all we've seen in recent events, just shows that Labour have
fucked up even more by having appointed Corbyn, he's the problem.

I doubt that could vote Labour again whilst Corbyn would be PM - but here and now and recognising the importance of actually Leaving the EU then he is exactly what is needed to lead the opposition

No I’m not recommending a fucking revolution, I’m recommending getting a leadership team that’s fucking electable.

You think Venezuela is a media campaign? I work with a girl from there, who’s family are still there and it’s no joke.

Not that I’m saying Corbyn would implement that but far left politics always result in poverty.

It’s funny you want New Labour MP’s to shut up and tow the party line, as if Corbyn has been doing that for 40 years.

The state of Venezuela is not the result of 'Far Left' politics its a result of the drop in oil prices / high debt and American Sanctions

This delusion always rears whenever socialism reaches its inevitable conclusion, and yes, I've watched the documentary.
Venezuela is totally screwed because of what Chavez and his successor implemented, the documentary also confirms it,
Chavez is seen pointing to various independent businesses, and blithely instructing his minions to 'Expropriate'
them. Taking control over all oil production and businesses, then handing them over to placemen who haven't a clue about industry, who
inevitably send it into penury was socialism in its purest, and most destructive form. See Zimbabwe, Cuba, in fact anywhere it's
been implemented, how anyone other than naive kids can defend this philosophy after seeing the same dreary outcomes
time and again, is beyond reason.
Then, another inevitability about the process invariably surfaces as mitigation, 'The Yanks are responsible.'
