I can't believe she hasn't worked out or been told that sacking your chancellor 38 days after appointing him makes you look bad more than anyone.

Kwasi Kwarteng's policies were not secretive, and she appointed him because they line up with her own.

She was in a bad situation but I can't help but think the move here was to personally and publicly overrule Kwarteng and pretend that he's gotten a bit carried away and you had to sort him out as the boss.

As much as I'd enjoy Kwarteng getting the boot, it's an absolute shambles. That'd be four chancellors in a year.

For anyone who does understand the impact of this if true, this is a monumental clusterfuck the likes of which I can't recall.
