Just watching media watch. Clive Myrie is interviewing the editors of the London Evening standard, Daily Mail and The Sun. He asked them all the same question; "Are you're papers political?"
Editor of the Daily Mail says his is, but not just for political movement, citing a dementia campaign. The Editor of The Standard says she's happy her paper is seen as political and has many MPs commenting on it to her on a daily basis. The Sun editor follows up saying she researchers political trends every day and crowed about getting readers to volunteer for Covid jabs. Myrie follows up with "So all of your organisations support the conservative party?"
"Well not even The Guardian supported Corbyn." Came the reply from the Sun editor. All three of them laughed at the same time. Whilst they were giggling Myrie said, "That's just answered my point."
