That can’t be right. A GE is needed.
MPs choosing is much closer to a general election than Truss' election was.
I think it will be framed as 'needs must' to get a functioning govt (they hope) quickly.

Theres always been something rather off about Conservatives since 2012. The aura or behaviour they give off seems rather strange in comparison to people like Brown and Blair who seem... normal. The talent just isn’t there.

They should install Sunak as prime minister with Mordaunt as Home Secretary and Hunt at the Treasury. Should they lose the election, Mordaunt can then become party leader. Or just call a GE now and be done with it.
