and as has been pointed out to you everyone in the UK is in receipt of state benefits at the moment to cover heating costs so in your reality nobody should be allowed to go to a fast food outlet because getting state aid bars you from doing so - anyway these beans...............

Serious questions around why such an awful character gets so much air time on the BBC. I'm a lefty and you would think anything that looks like blue on blue political agro would be good. But the agenda from her and her ilk is so clear. They go after anyone moderate / rationale / intelligent*. Its people like her and those that put their views out there that result in politicians like BJ, Truss and Braverman rise to high office.
*Not saying hancock is in that bracket - the reason this story has dropped is to deflect from Sunak and the Windsor agreement. Its a small step in the right direction on Brexit and the Alt Right hate it.

She's the partner of the head of the Reform UK party, and having some Conservative voters lurch to them is beneficial.
Pick up some influence and hope for a similar effect on the Conservatives that UKIP had.
